+\section*{Preamble}
+
+This document aims at defining the rules a member of the organization called
+Supélec Rézo Metz has to respect, according to its applicable statutes. In case of a difference between the French version and this translation despite our efforts to translate it faithfully, the French version prevails. References will be made to the members of the association using the term “users”, to the Association Supélec Rézo Metz with “Rézo”, and to the École Supérieure d’Électricité, also called Supélec, and designated by this last term. Any failure to comply with these rules and regulations or any attempt to bypass the rules set by the Rézo may lead, in addition to sanctions taken by Supélec and penalties prescribed by the law, to a temporary or permanent disconnection of the user by the Rézo, without advance notice. According to the statutes in force, the concerned user is invited to submit his or her written and, if the user wants to, oral observations to the management committee. The decision is left to the discretion of the management committee of the Rézo.

+\section{Fees}
+
+To become a member of the Rézo, an annual fee, which amount is determined during the general meeting, must be paid in advance. It currently amounts to 40 (forty) euros a year.
+
+The only case in which an exception can be made by the management committee is when the user knows in advance that he won’t be a member of the Rézo for a whole year. For example, Supélec third year students and Georgia Tech Lorraine students may pay only for the period of time they will be a member of the Rézo on a 5 (five) euros a month basis.
+
+In any case, the user commits to paying the fees in euros with cash or by cheque to ASRM, when joining the association.
+
+\section{Equipment configuration}
+
+The user commits to respecting, and consequently, not to modifying the network parameters automatically given by the Rézo’s servers or by one of the active members. It includes in particular the IP address, the network mask and the default gateway.
+
+The user also commits not to modifying the physical addresses (also known as MAC addresses) of his or her network interfaces without an agreement from the Rézo.
+
+The user also commits not to installing a router without an advance agreement from the management committee of the Rézo. Please be aware that most Wi-Fi access points feature a router so they must not be used without authorisation either.
+
+\section{Supélec charter -- RENATER charter}
+
+The user commits to respecting the rules prescribed by the Supélec charter, even if he or she is not a Supélec student. The users that are not Supélec students can obtain a copy of this charter from the Rézo to know its content.
+
+The user commits not to sharing his or her connexion without having got an agreement from the management committee of the Rézo.
+
+The user also commits to respecting the Renater charter, the Internet service provider of Supélec.This charter, available at www.renater.fr, contains (among others), the following points :
+\begin{itemize}
+\item It is compulsory to have antivirus software installed, updated, and operating as soon as the computer is started;
+\item It is forbidden to use server softwares that are accessible from outside of the local network of the residence. This refers to applications such   as HTTP and FTP servers;
+\item It is forbidden to infringe on copyright by the exchange of files for instance using exchange networks known as “Peer To Peer” or “P2P”, but also   through HTTP, FTP, IRC, etc; A non exhaustive list of forbidden software can be   found on the internal website of the association;
+\item More generally, it is forbidden to infringe French law, in particular relatively to information systems.

+\section{Usage of the provided services}
+
+By this contract, the user releases the Rézo from its liability concerning the user's activities, and accepts to take on all of his or her responsibilities.
+
+The use of the services provided by the Rézo or the payment of the fees means agreement with this document.
+
+In any case, the Rézo is not responsible for the damage inflicted to the computer of the user, be it caused by a virus or by any other kind of attack. The user is invited to take all needed precautions to prevent his or her computer or any other users' from being compromised.
+
+The Rézo reserves the right to modify, at any time, the enforced rules on the network (concerning for example the quotas or the available services). Any user who is not satisfied by these new rules can be disconnected and can obtain a reimbursement of part of the paid fees, depending on the number of months the user has been a member, any begun month being due.
+
+Besides, joining the Rézo implies respecting the following rules:
+\begin{itemize}
+\item to control at any time the flows emitted or received by his or her   computer, to know the installed services, and not to leave this machine under no   surveillance. The user will be responsible for any infringement committed from   it;
+\item not to use software affecting the quality of the service or the   security on the network (notably those containing spywares);
+\item not to send any unsolicited email (spam), and particularly not to   forward or send emails from questionable source, advertising or doing   political, religious or commercial propaganda.

+\section{Data privacy}
+
+The Rézo reservs the right to automatically analyse the user's traffic in order to regulate data flows, to make security controls and to verify the implementation of the above-mentioned rules. Gathered data can only be consulted by the management committee of the Rézo and the people they appoint and legal authorities. The people who have access to this data have pledged to respecting the users' privacy and not to divulgating this information to people who are not part of the management committee of the Rézo.

+\section{Commitments from the Rézo toward the user}
+
+The Rézo commits to providing an optimum access to its services. However they may be interrupted, notably in cases of maintenance or involuntary malfunctions.
+
+In accordance with the law on Computing and Freedom, the user has the right to access all data concerning him or her.
+
+The Rézo stays at your disposal for any further information.

+\section*{Préambule}
+Le présent document vise à définir les différentes règles à respecter par toute personne au sein de l'association Supélec Rézo Metz, conformément à ses statuts en vigueur. Il sera fait référence aux membres de l'association, désignés par le terme \og{}utilisateurs\fg{}, à l'association Supélec Rézo Metz, désignée par le terme \og{}Rézo\fg{}, et à l'École Supérieure d'Électricité, aussi nommée Supélec, et désignée sous ce dernier nom. Le non-respect de ce règlement intérieur ou toute tentative de contourner les règles ou limitations mises en place par le Rézo pourra entraîner, en plus des sanctions prévues par Supélec ou la législation en vigueur, une déconnexion temporaire ou définitive, et sans préavis, de l'utilisateur par le Rézo. Conformément aux statuts en vigueur, l'utilisateur intéressé est cependant invité à présenter ses observations écrites et, s'il le souhaite, orales au comité de direction. La décision est néanmoins laissée à la discrétion du comité de direction du Rézo.

+\section{Cotisation}
+Pour devenir membre du Rézo, il est nécessaire de payer une cotisation annuelle dont le montant est fixé en assemblée générale et payable d'avance. Elle s'élève actuellement à 40 (quarante) euros par an.
+
+Une dérogation peut être accordée par le comité de direction dans le seul cas où l'utilisateur sait par avance qu'il ne restera pas une année entière au sein de l'association. Entre autres, les étudiants en troisième année à Supélec et les étudiants à Georgia Tech Lorraine peuvent ne payer que pour la durée pendant laquelle ils vont être membres du Rézo, sur la base de 5 (cinq) euros par mois.
+
+Dans tous les cas, l'utilisateur s'engage à la verser en euros, en espèces ou par chèque à l'ordre de l'ASRM, lors de l'adhésion au Rézo.
+
+
+\section{Configuration du matériel}
+L'utilisateur s'engage à respecter et donc à ne pas modifier les paramètres de configuration réseau fournis automatiquement par les serveurs du Rézo ou par ses membres actifs. Cela inclut notamment l'adresse IP, le masque de sous-réseau et la passerelle par défaut.
+
+L'utilisateur s'engage aussi à ne pas modifier les adresses physiques, ou adresses MAC, de ses interfaces réseau sans l'accord du Rézo.
+
+Il s'engage également à ne pas brancher de routeur sans avoir obtenu l'accord préalable du comité de direction. En particulier la plupart des bornes wifi étant équipées d'un routeur interne, elles ne doivent pas être branchées sans autorisation.
+
+
+\section{Charte de Supélec -- charte de RENATER}
+L'utilisateur s'engage à respecter les règles prescrites par la charte de Supélec, même s'il n'est pas élève de Supélec. Les utilisateurs qui ne seraient pas élèves de Supélec peuvent se procurer cette charte auprès du Rézo pour en connaître le contenu.
+
+L'utilisateur s'engage aussi à ne pas partager sa connexion sans avoir reçu l'accord préalable du comité de direction.
+
+L'utilisateur s'engage également à respecter la charte de Renater, fournisseur d'accès à internet de Supélec. Cette charte, disponible sur www.renater.fr, comporte (entre autres) les points suivants :
+\begin{itemize}
+\item l'obligation d'avoir un logiciel antivirus installé, à jour, et en   fonctionnement dès le démarrage de la machine;
+\item l'interdiction d'installer sur sa machine des logiciels de type   serveur qui soient directement accessibles en dehors du réseau local de la   résidence. Sont notamment désignés par ces termes les serveurs HTTP ou FTP;
+\item l'interdiction d'envoyer ou recevoir des fichiers en enfreignant les   lois sur la copie, notamment en utilisant les réseaux d'échanges connus sous le   nom de \og{}Peer to Peer\fg{} ou \og{}P2P\fg{}, mais également via HTTP, FTP,   IRC, etc. Une liste non exhaustive des logiciels dont l'usage est interdit est   disponible sur le site internet interne de l'association;
+\item Plus généralement, l'interdiction de transgresser la loi française,   en particulier relativement aux systèmes d'information.

+
+\section{Utilisation des services fournis}
+
+Par le présent contrat, l'utilisateur décharge le Rézo de toute responsabilité concernant les activités menées par l'utilisateur, et accepte d'en assumer l'entière responsabilité.
+
+L'utilisation des services du Rézo ou le paiement de la cotisation valent acceptation du présent règlement.
+
+Le Rézo n'est en aucun cas responsable des dommages infligés à la machine de l'utilisateur, qu'il s'agisse d'une infection par un virus, ou de tout autre type d'attaque. L'utilisateur est invité à prendre toutes les précautions nécessaires afin de ne pas compromettre sa machine ni celles des autres utilisateurs.
+
+Le Rézo se réserve le droit de modifier à tout moment les règles en vigueur sur le réseau (en ce qui concerne par exemple les quotas ou les services accessibles). Tout utilisateur qui ne serait pas satisfait par ces nouvelles règles peut obtenir sa déconnexion avec remboursement partiel de la cotisation en fonction du nombre de mois où l'utilisateur a été membre, tout mois commencé étant dû en entier.
+
+Par ailleurs, l'adhésion au Rézo implique le respect des règles suivantes :
+\begin{itemize}
+\item contrôler à tout moment les flux émis ou reçus par sa machine, avoir   connaissance des services installés, et ne pas laisser sa machine sans   surveillance. L'utilisateur sera tenu responsable de toute infraction qui aura   été commise depuis sa machine;
+\item ne pas utiliser de logiciels affectant la qualité du service ou la   sécurité sur le réseau (notamment ceux contenant des logiciels espions);
+\item ne pas émettre de courriers électroniques non sollicités (spam), en   particulier ne pas transférer ou émettre des messages de provenance douteuse,   publicitaires ou faisant de la propagande politique, religieuse ou commerciale.

+\section{Confidentialité des données}
+
+Le Rézo se réserve le droit d'analyser par traitement automatisé le trafic des utilisateurs à des fins de régulation du débit, de contrôles de sécurité et de vérification de l'application du présent règlement. Les données collectées ne pourront être consultées que par le comité de direction, par les personnes désignées par ce dernier, et par les autorités judiciaires. Les personnes ayant accès à ces données se sont engagées par écrit à respecter la vie privée des utilisateurs et à ne pas divulguer ces informations à des personnes qui ne sont pas membres du comité de direction.

+\section{Engagements du Rézo vis-à-vis de l'utilisateur}
+Le Rézo s'engage à maintenir une disponibilité optimale de ses services. Ceux-ci peuvent être interrompus, notamment en cas de maintenance ou de dysfonctionnement indépendants de sa volonté.

+D'après la loi informatique et libertés, l'utilisateur a droit de consultation des données le concernant.

+Le Rézo reste à la disposition des utilisateurs pour tout renseignement complémentaire.
